Grand Hyatt Hong Kong: Pool, gym, dining and spa

Pools & Resorts: Grand Hyatt Hong Kong: Pool, gym, dining and spa

Swim, train, recover and dine beside Victoria Harbour with seven-day access for Privilee Members

Grand Hyatt Hong Kong sits at 1 Harbour Road in Wan Chai, overlooking Victoria Harbour and the Central skyline.

With Privilee, the five-star hotel becomes somewhere you can use throughout the week. Members receive complimentary access seven days a week to the swimming pool, Open Gym, sauna, steam room and changing facilities. Privilee access is currently available to adult Members only.

There is also 15% off dining for each Member and up to two guests across five participating outlets. Plateau Spa offers Members 15% off à la carte treatments from Sunday to Friday when spending a minimum of HKD 1,000 on spa treatments.

Complimentary parking for up to three hours is included for one vehicle per Member, per visit.

A few lengths can lead into time in the sauna, cocktails at Waterfall Bar or dinner at The Grill. On another day, make the gym the main plan or book a treatment at Plateau Spa.

A 50-metre pool above the city

Set on the 11th floor, Grand Hyatt Hong Kong’s 50-metre heated outdoor pool looks across Victoria Harbour towards the Central skyline.

Its size makes it a genuine option for lap swimming rather than somewhere to take a quick dip after the gym. Bring your goggles, get some lengths in and use the pool as part of your weekly fitness routine.

The same setting works just as well when training is not the priority. Sun loungers and landscaped gardens surround the water, with drinks and snacks available nearby at Waterfall Bar.

A few lengths can turn into time on a lounger and cocktails with friends without needing to leave the city. The harbour views do much of the work.

The pool is heated, which gives it an edge as the weather changes. Privilee Member access is guaranteed when arriving before 5pm. Check the Privilee app for current pool hours, later arrival details and availability before visiting.

A hotel gym worth training in

Grand Hyatt Hong Kong’s Fitness Centre has a more substantial set-up than the average hotel gym.

Life Fitness equipment sits across cardio, strength and functional training areas, with dedicated spaces for free weights, core work and stretching. The gym also looks towards the outdoor area leading to the pool, bringing some of the hotel setting into the session.

There is enough here to follow your usual strength programme, work through a shorter session before the day begins or combine cardio and mobility when that is what your routine needs.

Privilee access also includes the sauna and steam room. Finish your workout or swim with time in the heat, then use the changing facilities before heading back into Wan Chai.

The pool, gym and recovery spaces sit within the same visit, so the day does not need to stop when the workout does.

Five places to eat and drink

Privilee Members receive 15% off dining for themselves and up to two guests at Grand Café, Tiffin, Grand Hyatt Steakhouse, The Grill and Waterfall Bar.

Grand Café serves international dishes across its à la carte and buffet menus, including its well-known Hainanese chicken rice. The restaurant is also Halal-friendly certified, with Muslim-friendly dining options available.

Tiffin focuses on Continental cuisine, with lunch and dinner buffets alongside afternoon tea. Seasonal ingredients lead the menus, making it a good choice for a longer lunch or afternoon plans.

Grand Hyatt Steakhouse brings together prime cuts from the US, UK and Japan, joined by an oyster and seafood bar, salads and an extensive wine list. Pick this one for dinner with friends or an evening that deserves more time.

The Grill sits within the hotel’s gardens beside the pool, serving grilled meat, seafood, salads and drinks in an alfresco setting. Weekend brunch and barbecue dinners give you different reasons to book a table.

Waterfall Bar is the natural extension of a pool visit. The open-air lounge sits on the 11th floor, serving coffee, iced teas, cocktails, wine and snacks throughout the day.

Lunch can follow a swim, dinner can come after the gym and drinks by the pool can become the main plan. The dining benefit works across all three.

Make time for Plateau Spa

Plateau Spa sits on the 11th floor as a quieter area within the hotel. Treatments take place in private rooms with en suite bathrooms, away from the busier parts of the property.

The treatment menu includes massages and facials, with options focused on relaxation, recovery and skincare.

Privilee Members receive 15% off à la carte spa treatments from Sunday to Friday, with a minimum spend of HKD 1,000 on spa treatments. The benefit does not apply on Saturdays.

Complimentary spa treatments or general spa access are not included with Privilee. Bookings should be made separately with Plateau Spa.

Check the Privilee app for the current booking instructions and full benefit terms before confirming your treatment.

Coffee, meetings and time between plans

Grand Hyatt’s three-storey lobby gives you another way to use the hotel around the rest of your day.

Meet someone for coffee before heading to the pool, take a meeting after your workout or use the lobby as a comfortable pause before lunch. It makes the hotel useful even when your visit is not built around one facility.

With the waterfront and Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre nearby, the setting works particularly well for Members already spending time in Wan Chai.

Complimentary parking for your visit

Members receive complimentary parking for up to three hours for one vehicle per Member, per visit.

It is a useful addition when your plan includes more than one part of the hotel, such as a workout followed by lunch or a spa treatment before dinner.

Check the Privilee app for the validation process and remember to confirm your parking before leaving the hotel.

Make Grand Hyatt part of your week

Use Grand Hyatt for a lap session before work, a longer pool day with friends or an afternoon that ends at The Grill. Another visit can be all gym, sauna and back into the city.

The combination of fitness, recovery, dining and downtime gives you more than one reason to return, with Victoria Harbour in view throughout the day.
