1. Introduction

Privilee Limited (“Privilee”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects the personal data privacy of all individuals. Privilee is committed to ensuring that all personal data collected through its landing page are handled according to the relevant provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) (“PDPO”). A copy of Privilee’s Privacy Policy Statement may be found at Privilee's website. Where the collection of personal data is subject to the laws of other jurisdictions, Privilee will comply with such relevant laws.


Providing personal data to Privilee is voluntary. However, if you do not provide Privilee with the required personal data, Privilee will be unable to inform you of our membership offering, access to our partner gyms, pools, spas, hotel and beach clubs and restaurants in Hong Kong, and member events, or contact you when we launch in Hong Kong.


2. Purpose of Collecting Personal Data

Privilee collects and uses your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To keep you informed of our membership offering, and the timing of our Hong Kong launch;
  • To inform you about access to our partner gyms, pools, spas, hotel and beach clubs and restaurants in Hong Kong;
  • To invite you to member events; 
  • To use your personal data for direct marketing purposes, as described in Section 4 below


3. Types of Personal Data Collected

To contact you by phone, email and/or WhatsApp about our offering, partners and events, we collect:

  • your name;
  • your telephone number; and
  • your email address.

Without this data, we will not be able to respond to your request or keep you informed as described above.


4. Use of Personal Data for Direct Marketing 

We intend to use your name, telephone number and email address to send you direct marketing communications about:

  • Privilee membership plans and offers;
  • access to our partner gyms, pools, spas, hotels, beach clubs and restaurants in Hong Kong; and
  • member events and promotions;
  • The timing of our Hong Kong Launch

(together, the "Marketing Subjects").


We cannot use your personal data for direct marketing purposes without your consent. By ticking the consent box on our landing page form, you consent to Privilee using your name, telephone number and email address to send you direct marketing communications about the Marketing Subjects listed above, by phone, email and/or WhatsApp.

You may withdraw your consent and opt out of receiving direct marketing communications at any time, free of charge, by emailing hello@privilee.hk, clicking the unsubscribe link in our marketing emails, or messaging us via our Whatsapp number. Once we receive your request, we will stop using your personal data for direct marketing purposes.

5. Disclosure and Transfer of Personal Data

Privilee will keep your personal data confidential. Only authorised personnel will have access to and handle your personal data.


Privilee may transfer your personal data to third parties, including data processors, business partners, third-party service providers and/or merchants engaged by Privilee in processing our services. When third parties handle personal data, they will be subject to relevant contractual and/or regulatory requirements regarding disclosure of personal data.


Privilee will disclose your personal data when required to do so by law. Privilee may also disclose your personal data in response to requests from law enforcement agencies or regulatory authorities.


6. Security 

Privilee will securely store your personal data according to prevailing information security practices. Appropriate technical and organisational measures will be in place to protect the personal data against unauthorised or accidental access, processing, erasure, loss or use.


7. Retention of Personal Data

We will destroy any personal data we may hold in accordance with our internal retention policy. The policy states that:

  1. Personal data will only be retained for as long as is necessary to fulfil the original or directly related purpose for which it was collected, unless the personal data is also retained to satisfy any applicable statutory or contractual obligations; and
  2. Personal data is purged from our electronic, manual, and other filing systems in accordance with specific schedules based on the above criteria and our internal procedures.


8. Access to Personal Data

You may access and/or correct your personal data in the records of Privilee. You may contact us at hello@privilee.hk . As permitted by PDPO, Privilee may impose a fee for processing your data access request.
